I assisted in the shooting of this commercial and did all of the VFX and color grading work. The VFX involved keying, rotoscoping, BG replacement, screen tracking/replacement, and creating the portal and electric effects.
Used Davinci Resolve for color correction and compositing. Blender for some particle effects and lighting. AfterEffects for screen asset animation and electric effects.
Visual effects made for a weather car promotion for News12 New York. The vehicle is called Thunderbolt 12, so I incorporated lighting/electric effects throughout the spot.
The effects were made with a combination of Blender, AfterEffects, and Davinci Resolve Fusion.
